TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER - INDUSTRIAL CURTAINS

Union Industries is a market leading manufacturer of bespoke engineered products for industry, including heavy duty Industrial Curtains and also the world renowned Matadoor Range of Hi-Speed Doors.

Due to an increase in demand for Union's products for environmental control and heat and dust retention, an exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Engineer to take a proactive role in promoting the sales of custom made heavy duty Industrial Curtains for Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Recycling and Aviation Industries.

The position will appeal to someone who's a practical thinker, is naturally inquisitive, has excellent communication skills and, preferably, some structural engineering experience as the ideal candidate will be required to understand the customer's problem and specify the solution in a technically detailed proposal. Site surveys will be involved as will the capability to produce accurate drawings for use by the design department.

Good IT skills and an excellent grasp of English are a necessity. The correct person must have the abillity to communicate in a pleasant but intelligent manner at every level. A full, clean driving license is also essential, as is a valid passport as overseas travel may be required.

Union-specific, database and sales training will be provided.
