REGARDING ENERGY SAVINGS BY INSTALLING HI-SPEED DOORS

From an engineering perspective, the examples given demonstrate a practical way of illustrating door comparisons as they provide and adequate understanding of wind and energy calculations. How far you take the calculations to prove their validity is subjective. You could try to extend the process and take into account Velocity pressure, Terrain, Building height, location height etc. At the end of the day, the benefits realised with automatic doors compared to manually operated equivalents is substantial and does not in my view require lengthy calculations to prove this case.
