Failsafe Devices : |
Dual Safety edge integral to door's bottom beam and protected by a safety edge cover with quick release and partially detachable Velcro flap to facilitate easy inspection. Safety Edge monitored by electronic evaluator. 2 off Through Beam Photocell Units mounted both sides of the door threshold for maximum coverage and incorporating heated lenses to both transmitters and receiver units to accommodate the low freezer temperature. |

Side Guide Columns : |
Each column comprises a 2 piece configuration of 120 x 120 x 5 SHS with 3mm Stainless Steel ‘bolt on' pressed steel blade guides and internal and external blade support brushes mounted onto integral nylon guides. The multi purpose column acts as a structural support and forms an integral part of the ductwork as well as housing the counterweights for the balanced door drive system. |

Twin 168.3 diameter x 5 mm wall CHS tubing top rolls terminate at each end with stub shafts carrying the primary transmission, rotary adjustment bushes and gearing. 30mm diameter stub shafts, supported at each end by self aligning, lubricated for life, flanged bearings. |
Door Blade : |
2 separate blades of fully opaque 750gm/sq.m double coated polyester pre-contraint substrate, fire retardant to BS 5438, DIN 4102 acrylic fluo-top anti dirt and anti static coated. The 2 blades, matched in their construction and make up, run synchronously onto the twin top rolls separated by an environmentally controlled thermal gap.

Sealing and Insulation
|
The door columns are insulated from the freezer walls by means of a double skin of powder coated sheet metal flashing enclosing a 100mm minimum compressed and compacted fill of Rockwool insulation blocks. |
Top Seal: |
Dual purpose back bar (100x100x3.6 RHS) c/w brush strip performs the role of top seal and blade damper. |
De-Humidified Air System : |
A desiccant air dehumidifier takes a mixture of re- circulated and ambient air, and removes resident moisture before delivering the air to into the columns and the void between the 2 door blades. |
Top Roll Covers : |
Fully enclosed hood cover, fabricated in galvanised steel and powder coated. |

Combination of powder-coated mild steel and stainless steel or full stainless steel specification. All metal parts fully shot blasted and degreased, zinc phosphate pre-treated and finally polyester powder coated to 70 microns.
